Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you order a custom PC from ibuildrigs through ibuildrigs.com. By placing an order you agree to them. In these terms, "I", "me" and "ibuildrigs" mean the business, and "you" means the person placing the order.

1. Orders

You place an order when you complete checkout in the configurator. Each order gets a number that starts with IBR-. An order is confirmed once your payment is received in full.

I can decline or cancel an order before it's confirmed, or after, if a part is unavailable, a price was shown in error, or I can't deliver to your area. If I cancel a paid order, you get a full refund.

Orders that aren't paid within 48 hours are cancelled automatically.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian rupees. The total shown at checkout is the full price for the parts, assembly and the 24-hour stress test. Local delivery, if it has a charge, is agreed with you before delivery (see the shipping and delivery policy).

You pay the full amount when you order, by UPI or bank transfer to the details shown at checkout. Your order is confirmed once the money reaches my account.

3. Parts and compatibility

The configurator lists parts in stock at the time you view it, and its compatibility checks are a guide. I check every build again before assembling it. If a part you chose turns out to be incompatible or unavailable, I'll contact you before going further and offer an equivalent part. You can accept it, choose something else, or cancel for a full refund.

Product names, photos and specifications come from the manufacturers and may change without notice.

4. Build, testing and handover

I assemble each PC by hand within 3 days of your payment being confirmed, then run it under full load for 24 hours before handover. Pickup and delivery are covered in the shipping and delivery policy. Please check the PC in front of me, or as soon as it's delivered, and tell me straight away if anything is wrong.

5. Cancellations and refunds

6. Warranty

Labor warranty (from me)

I give a 2-year labor warranty, starting on the day of handover, on my workmanship: assembly, mounting, wiring and cable management, and the setup I did. If a fault is caused by how I built the PC, I'll fix it at no charge.

Parts (from the manufacturers)

Each component carries its own manufacturer's warranty, with that manufacturer's terms and length. If a part fails, I'll help you identify it and raise the claim.

What isn't covered

Physical damage, liquid damage, or damage from power surges or faulty wiring at your premises.
Faults caused by changes or repairs made by someone else after handover.
Overclocking or running parts outside the manufacturer's specifications.
Software, operating system or driver problems that appear after handover.
Normal wear, such as fan noise developing over time.

To make a claim, email me with your order number and a description of the problem.

7. Your data

Back up anything important before sending a PC to me for any warranty work. How I handle your personal details is set out in the privacy policy.

8. Liability

My total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. I'm not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost data, lost income or the cost of downtime. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law that can't legally be limited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction where ibuildrigs is based.

10. Questions and complaints

Email hello@ibuildrigs.com. I'll acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. Full details are on the contact page.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it.
