Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information ibuildrigs collects through ibuildrigs.com, why, and what you can do about it. I only collect what I need to answer your questions and build, deliver and support your PC.

What I collect

• When you send a message: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
• When you order: your name, phone number, email if you give it, delivery address if you choose delivery, any notes, the parts you chose, the amount and the payment status.
• When you pay: I see the payment in my bank or UPI app and the screenshot you send. I never ask for your card number, bank login or UPI PIN.
• When you browse: your light or dark mode choice is saved in your own browser. If analytics are switched on, Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Why I use it

• To reply to your messages and prepare parts lists.
• To process, build, deliver and support your order, including warranty claims.
• To confirm payments, issue refunds and keep the records the law requires.

I don't send marketing messages, and I never sell or rent your information.

Who it's shared with

Only with the services that run this website and business, and only what each one needs:

• Google Firebase stores messages, orders and site content.
• Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and, if switched on, provides cookie-free visit statistics.
• Telegram delivers order and message alerts to me, including your name, contact details and order details.
• A delivery partner, if one is used for your order, receives your name, phone number and address.

I may also share information if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Order records are kept for as long as your warranty runs and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Messages that don't lead to an order are deleted within 2 years. Orders that are never paid are cancelled automatically and can be deleted at any time.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. I'll do so unless I have to keep it by law, for example records of a paid order. Email hello@ibuildrigs.com and I'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Access to orders and messages is restricted to me, and the website only accepts new orders and messages from visitors; it can't be used to read anyone else's. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't put sensitive information such as passwords or bank details in messages or order notes.

Children

Orders must be placed by an adult. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to order for you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
