Refunds and cancellation

Every PC is built to order, so what you get back depends on how far the build has gone. To cancel or ask for a refund, email hello@ibuildrigs.com with your order number (it starts with IBR-).

Cancelling an order

• Before assembly starts: full refund.
• After assembly starts, before handover: refund of the order amount minus a cancellation charge of up to 10% of the order value, which covers assembly time and opened consumables such as thermal paste. I'll tell you the exact amount before you decide.
• After handover: because each PC is custom-built, I don't accept change-of-mind returns. Faults are covered by the warranty below.

If I cancel

If I can't complete your order, for example because a part is no longer available and you don't want an alternative, you get a full refund.

Faulty on arrival

If the PC or any part doesn't work when you receive it, tell me within 7 days of handover. I'll repair it or replace the faulty part at no cost. After that, faults are handled under the 2-year labor warranty and each part's manufacturer warranty, as described in the terms and conditions.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go by bank transfer or UPI to the account you paid from, or another account in your name.

I start the refund within 3 working days of approving it. Banks usually take another 5 to 7 working days to show it in your account.

Unpaid orders

Orders that aren't paid within 48 hours are cancelled automatically. Nothing is charged.
